Several hundred thousand Americans died or were premanently disable fighting in fascism in World War 2--to protect what? Lying, corruption, invasion and occupation of half the world, suppression of our basic rights to free speech? I don't think so. The only way to be a "patriot" now is to physically and verbally express our outrage with the corporate-controlled American government. Any other forms of "patriotism" are empty actions and wasted words.
