Announcements of actions and reports of new restrictive, anti-protesting laws passed all over the country... THEY are getting ready for the protests of their lives--Nato and G-8 meetings in Chicago, both political conventions, and all the rest of institutionalized greed and power-- the big test is what happens this year.
When people want more than they need and try to take what you have, you have to resist.

You can't have wealthy people without poor people-- it's a fact of life. And it is way past time to lighten the load of the rich and transfer what they have to those who have nothing or very little.
This is what the Occupy movement is all about.

Ghandi in India, Martin Luther King and the civil rights movement... The time has come to move beyond horizontal action and create a dynamic, focused movement with elected, respected leaders. Otherwise the Occupy movement will dissolve into purposeless anarchy and violence.
